If you ride a scooter or motorcycle in the city of Boston, as of today there are SUPPOSED to be meters around the Back Bay for you to park at.
According to folks I talked to last night at the Boston Scoots ride, these meters were supposed to be in by today but are not in and there's no official word from the BTD as to when they will appear.
Word is that these meters - at spots at the end of blocks with room for four or five two-wheeled motorized vehicles - will cost only $.25 per hour with no limit (or a 10-hour limit).
It's good stuff, or will be when it happens, and I'll keep you updated on this issue.

Fondue, The Shipyard and Dressing Up
by
Jeff Cutler
This week we've got Fondue Monday, a Shipyard visit Tuesday, a #140Conf meetup with Jeff Pulver on Tuesday night, a dressy event with Emmi Sorokin on Wednesday at the House of Blues, a bunch of tech sessions and AdClub stuff on Thursday, and then NomX3 is filming at Sonsie on Friday at lunch. Holy. Crap.

Tuesday at Enterprise 2.0
by
Jeff Cutler
Today's events (Monday) are nearly wrapped up, although there is an evening reception from 4:30-7:30 titled Evening in the Cloud. But I'm looking ahead at the sessions offered tomorrow at the Enterprise 2.0 Conference.
Unlike today's sessions which were about 3:15 long, the classes on Tuesday are quick-hit, one-hour sessions and there are a lot of them. Here's what I'm thinking of going to...
8AM - New Approaches to Breaking Down Information Silos
9AM - Keynotes
1PM - From Idea to Delivery: Apps Don't Deploy Themselves
also at 1PM - Socializing With Video: How Emerging Video Applications will Impact Enterprise Collaboration
2:15PM - Microsharing: It is All About the Tools. It it Not About the Tools.
3:30PM - You Say Social Media, I Say Community—Does it Matter?
Then there are attendee parties, and social media add-on Tweetups and also a boat trip and then some private events for media.
Hoping to run into Social Julio, Steve Garfield, Chris Brogan, Anne Weiskopf, Mike Schneider and others sometime during the show.
I'm over-scheduled, overstimulated and excited for the rest of the week. Are you here? What are you going to?

E 2.0 Conference - Westin Waterfront
by
Jeff Cutler
I'm at the Enterprise 2.0 Conference in Boston right now and am live Tweeting it and blogging about it all week long. The event - find more here - has a cool exhibit floor and a good schedule of sessions.
I hope to get a lot out of this and enjoy some great networking, too. *The after-hours events are numerous and cool. See the calendar for more info - e.g. Bon Voyage Party.
Are you here at the conference?

The Week Ahead (starting on Tuesday)
by
Jeff Cutler
Sure, today is Tuesday but I've been busy. Had golf yesterday with Tyson Goodridge, Joe Cascio and a buddy from High School. We played at Plymouth Country Club and didn't win a thing. But we had fun...which is the goal of any event's organizer.
Want to have fun this week? Take a look at the calendar. It includes stuff like a chat with Rob Mondavi of the famous winemaker family. This chat is coordinated with a taping of NomX3 at Not Your Average Joe's in Medford, MA. And it's all free.
There are also about two billion other fun things happening here in Boston (and the burbs). And if you'd like to write about an event or want your stuff on the calendar, give us a shout. We're open to all contributions that are fun and local.
See you out there.
