Digital Media 3.0

I'm headed to Cambridge tonight to hear Larry Weber and a panel of luminaries speak on the future of branding and digital media. From the eventbrite description...

Expert Panel: Larry Weber, Harvard, CBS & Hill HollidayThe media world is changing rapidly and it's becoming harder to stay relevant and tuned in. Digital Media 3.0 is an event that will help you understand all of the latest technologies and how to leverage them to grow your brand. If you want to know what the future of media is going to look like and how to prepare for it now, you can't miss this event! Our panel is composed of some of the most well-known and respected media and marketing professionals in the area. On the panel, we have Larry Weber (Digital Influence Group), Perry Hewitt (Harvard), Mike Proulx (Hill Holliday), and Stephanie Miller (Formerly at CBS). The panelists will share cutting edge advice, the latest case studies and examples, and you will be able to ask them questions at the end.
You can find out more in the calendar or just go straight to the link here.

The event is sold out, but you can follow along on Twitter as folks (including me) will be tweeting it at #branducambridge. Would love some feedback and questions you'd like to ask the panel.

Another Shel in Boston!

And also Thursday night, Shel Israel is signing his book "Twitterville" and talking at the Harvard Faculty Club.

Do these events just materialize or what!? Good thing we've got a network of contributors to make this the best, most accurate repository for tweetups and other events in Boston.

Here's the info on Shel's Harvard event... GO HERE.

Have fun out there!

One busy day for Gradon

After 16 days with the beautiful Meg Fowler in town, I'm settling into what I thought was a slow week, but it turns out not to be so slow. Well, for Thursday, at least.

On Thursday morning, I'll be giving a presentation on social media for causes to a class at - ahem - Harvard University. I've spoken at colleges and universities before, but never to a class. I feel so, educational.

Then, Thursday evening, I'll be on Jennifer Leggio and Aaron Strout's Quick-n-Dirty Podcast, a weekly discussion on social media. For some strange reason, they've offered me the chance to speak with them. The show airs from 6-7 EST.

Immediately after that, I'm off to Cambridge for a design get together. Dutch furniture retailer BoConcept is celebrating their new line, and I'll be covering it for my DesignBoston blog.

Beyond that one night, it's a pretty quiet week for me. What've you got going on?
